Sarah Wixey

Sarah is the Director of Strategy and Sustainability at Virtus Energy, an electric vehicle charging installation company. Her role is to lead the company’s newly established consultancy business, which specialises in supporting organisations in their wider sustainability and transport decarbonisation journey. Sarah was previously employed by a multidisciplinary engineering company working on a variety of public and private sector funded sustainable transport and fleet decarbonisation projects. Sarah has a degree in Social Science, a Post Graduate Certificate in Research, a PhD in Sustainable Transport and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. She is a member of Women in Transport and the Women Leaders Association. Sarah is a graduate of the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainable Leadership and has used the knowledge she gained from the course to support her company’s application for B Corporation certification.
